CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Returns & withdrawal.
Vintage watches are individual pieces. Here is what to know before making a purchase.
Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer buying at a distance from Vintage Watch Scout as a business seller, you normally have 14 days after receiving your watch to withdraw without giving a reason. This also generally applies to second-hand watches, subject to any statutory exceptions.
To use this right, notify us within the withdrawal period. You may use the form on this page or send a clear written statement through Instagram. Include your name and enough information to identify the purchase.
Sending your watch back
After notifying us of withdrawal, return the watch within 14 days. We will provide the return address and practical packing instructions. Tracked shipping is recommended for valuable watches.
Unless we agree otherwise, you bear the direct cost of return shipping when changing your mind. This does not reduce your rights if the watch is defective or does not match our agreement.
We refund the purchase price and the cost of standard outbound delivery within 14 days after your withdrawal notice. We may wait until the watch has arrived back or you provide proof of posting, whichever happens first. Refunds normally use the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
Please handle the watch only as needed to examine its nature and characteristics. You may be responsible for any reduced value caused by unnecessary handling.
Condition and legal warranty
Every vintage watch is pre-owned and may show signs of age. We describe the known condition and any limitations before purchase. Your statutory legal warranty rights remain unaffected. If a watch does not meet what was agreed or what you can reasonably expect, please contact us to discuss the appropriate remedy.
Contact and complaints
For questions before purchase, use our watch enquiry form. For an existing order, you can also message @vintage.watch.scout. We will review your message and respond.
